　本書は、『東京タワー』や『佐賀のがばいばあちゃん』の２匹目のどじょうをねらっちゃおうという出版社の下ごころミエミエの本です。

　でも、実際に読んでみると、なかなかいい線いってますよ。
　なにしろ、主人公き生き方がエライ！
　オカンの苦労も知らずお金の無心ばかりしていたリリー・フランキーよりはるかに親孝行だし、人気が失われるまで“がばいばあちゃん”の偉大さを忘れていた島田洋七に比べると、テレビ局を飛び回る忙しい毎日のなかで親への感謝の心を忘れない著者のやさしさが光っています。

　柳の下にどじょうは３匹いるそうですから、立派に２匹目の座を占めるかもしれませんよ。

　９歳まで幸せな家庭で育った「俺」は、両親の離婚に伴って住み慣れた名古屋から母親の故郷の岡山県に引っ越しました。
　オカンは、はじめスナックに勤めて、やがてスーパーの鮮魚部で肉体労働するようになりました。パンチパーマでたくましく働く姿はまるでオッサンのよう。
　本書のタイトル「一人二役」というのは、母親が父親の役割も果たしていたことをさしていますが、精神的に父親役を兼ねていただけでなく、オカンは外見上もオヤジになってしまいました。

　そんな、ちょっと複雑な家庭環境のなか、お調子もので甘えん坊だった「俺」は、「絶対に、オカンを泣かすようなことはせえへん」と誓う孝行息子になりました。

　吉本興業で売れっこ芸人になったあと、準一青年は２０年ぶりに父と再会します。孫に会わせる、という名目で顔を合わせたことをきっかけに、少しずつ関係が修復されていきました。

　総勢２４名が一堂に会した２泊３日の旅は、浄化されるような涙が降り注ぐ珍道中となりました。
　オヤジとオカンの１３年ぶりの再会と和解、親族一堂の号泣。

　お笑い芸人のタレント本なんて……、と思っている方も、先入観を捨てて手に取ることをお勧めします。

河本さんが「徹子の部屋」に出ていたのをキッカケに、本を買いました。
こちらの本もおもしろいですが、この番組で河本さんが直接話していた方が
私はおもしろかったです。
（内容は殆ど同じなのですが、気持ちが伝わってきて）
河本さんも、徹子さんも泣いていました。

本は読みやすく、一気に読めます。
おもしろかった分、もっと詳しい内容が読みたかったな〜と思いました。
明日も頑張ろう、と思えるような本。

傷付け傷付けられて、別れ別れになった絆がまた違う形で寄り添うことが出来るなんて。人は人をここまで許せるものだろうか?

流行りでも良い。キッカケなんて何でも良い。出版社の思惑でもハマってやろうじゃないか。本物はすごい強みだ。決してテクニックじゃ越えられない力がある。
この本にはデカくて濃い愛がありました。
本物でした。
