篠田 元一
大学在学中にピアノ/キーボードを笹路正徳に師事。自己グループにてレコード・デビューを果たしプロの道へ。その後は、自己の音楽製作事務所モトミュージックを拠点に幅広いジャンル、メディアの楽曲提供/音楽制作を手掛けている。2000年『PIVOT』、2002年『Floating Colors』、2003年『Foresight』と3枚のソロ・アルバムを発表。キーボーディストとしての演奏活動では、自己のプロジェクト/グループによる精力的なライブ/コンサート活動の他、ロンドン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団をはじめとする国内外の名門オーケストラとの共演も多数。冨田勲/源氏物語幻想交響絵巻の国内外公演およびレコーディングにキーボード・ソリストとして参加。加えて『実践コード・ワーク』『ザ・ベスト・プログラミングス・シリーズ』をはじめとする記録的なベスト・セラー、ロング・セラーを誇る音楽書籍も多数ある。音楽学校メーザー・ハウスでは音楽講師を務めて後進の指導にあたるなど、幅広い音楽活動を行っている(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

この本は、新・実践コードワークの1,3巻がまとめられて、ひとつになったもので、字も大きくなって読みやすくなったので、今から買うのなら、こちらがとてもお買得です。また、実践コード・ワーク Complete　アレンジ編と一緒に見れば、作曲の幅も広がり、とても有用な本だと思います。おすすめです！

この書籍はジャズ、ポップス系の作曲に於ける基礎的な理論を体系的にまとめている。特にポップスの作曲を行うための理論としては、この書籍の内容で十二分であろう。 但し、内容を理解するにあたっては、ある程度の楽典の知識が不可欠である。また、全く作曲をしたことがない人には、やや高度な内容が含まれるため不向きかもしれない。 一方、自分で簡単な作曲をしている人、簡単な曲の耳コピができる人にとっては、感覚的にやってきたことを理論的に整理するのに最適である。 さらにジャズ系の作曲を学びたい人は、この書籍の次に『ザ・ジャズ・セオリー』などを読んでみてはいかがだろうか。

1.0 out of 5 stars 初心者には難しすぎる内容, 2009/9/2
絶版になっていて手に入らないことが希少価値を出しているようですが、肝心な内容については「難しすぎてわかりません」でした。ある程度理論を勉強しないと全くわかりません。断言できます。初心者の方で迷っている方にはお勧めできません。
