フィンランドの教育現場を知る上では一読の価値あり、と感じました。
ただ、著者の「〜という気がする」という、あまり確固たる根拠が無い考えを披露する箇所も多く、途中からは、あまり中身の良さを汲み取ることが難しかったです。

フィンランドという割には地味すぎる表紙だ。本の表紙は本の命だと思うのだが、あまりにも目立たない表紙である。出版社の方は、よくこれでＯＫを出したものだ。デザインも社内なのかな？
まっ、表紙はさておき、中身はとても面白い。フィンランドの教育法が、日本のように点ばかりを追い求めるものではなく、よりグローバルに大きく捉えて、社会を向上させているという価値のある話がすべて読むと理解できる。この作者？　ライターの小林氏のファンで、私は小林氏の本はほとんど購入している。（さすがに「中学受験の本」は買っていない）
　今までの本の中で、一番力が入っている力作だ。
　書店で売れているベストセラーの中身のない本よりも、価値は数百倍ある！！　断言する！！

詰め込みよりも思考重視。黒板やノートは独特なカルタ。カルタの形はマインドマップに近い発想連想型。そんなフィンランドは教育王国。
小林氏の説の通り、詰め込み教育一本やりでは限界なのではないだろうか。
手法から考えさせられる事はたくさんある。
なお、行政に言いたい事がちくちくと書いてある。この部分は読者諸氏が考慮しながら読んでほしい。
