「見た目だけにこだわらない」とありますが、本当に見た目としてワンパターンのサイトだけが例としてあげられていました。出てくるサイトレイアウトのパターンは、この構成だけです。
（例：　http://www.softplanning.com/　作者のサイト）

SEOなどにもサラッと触れられていますが、基本的には、ITリテラシーのとてもとても低いSOHO系のショップサイトを作るアドバイス以外のものはありません。
途中でいきなり、「この本は静的なサイトのみを対象としていて、ECサイトなどは対象としません」とあっさり言いきって終わりです。

いや、別に、そういったサイト専門の本があるのは構わないんですよ。
こういったサイトを作りたい人もいると思います。（私の欲しい本ではありませんでしたが）
ただ、腑に落ちないのは、このamazonレビューですね。
発売して2ヶ月で、レビュー6件。
そのうち、☆5が5件。そのうち4件は、発売後3日以内についたレビューです。

著者の言うSEO対策、評判対策についても熱心に書いていました。
自分もレビューを参考に買う方なのですが、こういった落とし穴があるとは。

残念ながら特に目新しい内容ではありませんでした。
WEBショップ制作の依頼が多いため、タイトルに惹かれて予約購入したのですが、立ち読みしてから購入を決めればよかった・・・。誤植・文字詰めにエラーが多いのも気になりました。
サクっと軽く読みやすいので1-2時間あれば読むことが出来ます。移動中にサッと読んだり、はじめてネットショップの制作を依頼されている方にはいいかも。

ホームページ制作を業務としているので読んでみましたが、
単なるWebデザインの本ではなく、”ビジネスデザイン”までも学べる
まさに、本質を突いた内容でした。

”売れるデザイン”はもちろん、セールスレターの書き方、
アクセスの集め方などもわかりやすく書かれており、
マーケティング指導が苦手なWebクリエイターにとっては
常に手元に置いておきたい1冊となるでしょう。

個人的には、この本は依頼してくるお客様にこそ
読んでもらえると、制作がスムーズに進みそうな気がします。

何冊かストックしておいて依頼の度に
「まずはこちらの本をパラっとでいいので目を通してください」
と言えば、無駄な衝突がなくなるかもしれません。
