セカンドライフで物作りをしたい人にお勧めしたい一冊です。
基本的なオブジェクト作成の解説が丁寧で、絵が多く直観的にも
理解しやすい作りになっています。
スキン作成については書かれているほど簡単ではないですが（笑）
それでも丁寧な解説はありがたいです。
テクスチャ作成がきっちりできる人は買って損はないと思います。
本の中で作られた服やスキンのセンスには若干の疑問も感じますが（笑）。

記事が全てアバターを飾る事に特化しています。
この本では、フリー素材の写真等を積極的に活用して作成過程を説明しているので、絵心が無いからと諦めていた人にとっての大きな戦力になるかもしれません。
レタッチの工程は、写真で逐一解説されています。真似もしやすく、やってみようという気持ちになります。
プリム製のえりや、テクスチャリングでのハイライト等、ちょっとした実践向きの小技も充実していました。
スカルプ、アニメーション、アクセサリーに必要なパーティクル等の説明は少ない上に感覚的ですが、こういった所に中途半端な頁を割かない割り切りは素晴らしいと感じます。
