昨日無事合格しました。
3年前にCCNPを取得しその更新試験のためにBCMSNを受験。

まず、試験レベルはかなり難しくなっている感があります。
おそらく、以前のようにBCMSNが一番容易な試験ではなくなっている気がします。
以前の場合は、端的に答えられる問題が多くあった感じがありますが新版では、シナリオ問題が多く、VLAN、STP、冗長化プロトコル、ポートセキュリティ、QoS、Voiceなど全般にあたりのトポロジーに関する問題が多数出題されていました。
また、showコマンドやデバックコマンドの出力結果に関する問題も多かったです。
無線に関する問題はLWAPPに関する問題が一問くらいだったと思います。

基本をよく押さえていないと解けない問題が多く、時間をかければ解ける問題ではありますが51問　75分なので時間との戦いです。＾＾

シミュレーションは、基本的なものでVLANに関するもので「VLANルーティングの設定」、「VTP設定」に関するもので簡単です。設定すると途中エラーとなるものがありますが、showコマンドで確認すると反映が確認できたのでたぶん、問題ないと思います。

試験対策としては、「本書籍」と「シスコ技術者認定公式ガイド CCNP【BCMSN】編」を併用して勉強しました。認定公式ガイドは、試験範囲が最新傾向の把握のために利用し、後はひたすら、本書籍を繰り返し問題を解きました。後は少し、他の問題集も利用。

本書籍は、問題に対する解説も丁寧で内容理解にとても役立ちます。
ただ、本書籍のように素直な問題ばかりではないので、基本をよく押さえ以下にすばやく問題を解くかが合格のカギだと思えます。
本書籍の問題レベルだと考えると痛い目を見るかもしれませんが、問題に対する解説がしっかりしているため、そちらをよくよく目をとおし基本を押さえたほうがいいでしょう。

最後に、これから受けられる方は問題ばかりに注視せず、基本をよく理解することをお勧めします。本問題の総合問題にもあったと思いますが、HSRPの状態変化をデバックコマンドを見て問題を問う問題などがあります。HSRPの基本動作とshowコマンドやデバックコマンドなど具体的な出力結果から内容を把握できる知識をぜひ、押さえておいてください。

STP周りはちょっと弱い感じがします。実際の試験問題はもうちょっと深く聞いてきます。
他の分野はだいたいカバーしていますので、試験でも80%以上ずつ取れました。
