この本はｍｉｘｉの招待を受けたい人から
ｍｉｘｉの機能や仕組みに不安な初心者向けの本という印象です。

ｍｉｘｉの背景や歴史よりもタイトルとおり
操作解説が主体のマニュアル本です。

ミク中（ヘビーユーザー）の著者が初心者に向けて操作、設定に対して
実際どのように反映されて、どこがトラブルの原因になるかわかりやすく
解説してくれています。

ヘルプよりも実際の操作や設定の過程が写真を使っていてわかりやすいです。

ただの操作解説本ではなくマナーやルールがわかりやすく解説されていて
好感が持てます。

さらに外部のお助けツールを使ってさらに一歩進んだ中級になるための
ガイドとしても使えそうです。

ｍｉｘｉを始めたばかりで戸惑っている方、マイミクシーが思うように
増えないで困っている人、身近に疑問点を聞く相手がいない人など
手元に置いておきたい本としてお奨めです。

mixiはサービス開始後2，3年経つがロクな本が出ていない。
そのほとんどは面白コミュを紹介するか参加者の雑談を収録してお茶を濁しているだけだ。

この本は違う。mixiの機能の紹介に徹している。巻末には用語集などもありミク中などの独特な用語や世界観を一通り理解できる仕組みになっている。
一冊持って置きたいという人は迷わずこの本。
他はしょぼ過ぎなので不要。

まあでも普通にやる分には買わなくても別にいいと思う。個人的には足あと残さずにページを見れるテクニックになるほどと思ったくらい。

ミクシィのヘビーユーザー2人が書いた本（書かれた時期のユーザー数は100万人）。機能の1つ1つを写真と共に説明してあるので、実際に操作しながら読むとわかりやすい。慣れた人には当たり前の事も多いだろうが、意外と気づいていない事もあるのでは。また、Tipsという項目では利用時のマナーなどに触れている。基本的には初心者向けで、入門書としてよくできている。中級者以上にとっては、ミクシィに対応したアプリケーションの紹介や用語辞典などが参考になるだろう。ただ1600円という値段は少し高い気もする。
