最初はそれこそ「雑誌と書籍の違い」など、基本的なことから解説が始まります。

後半は校正や印刷までの手順など、実際にやってみないと分かりづらいようなことが
書かれています。「編集」という仕事のおおよそがわかります。おおよそなので、こ
の本を読んだ後はそれこそ「編集の学校」に通うなど（笑）実際の行動が必要だと感
じました。

転職で編集する仕事につきましたが、用語や流れがわからず苦労していました。まわりにはたたき上げの人が多く、人によりやり方や言葉の使い方がまちまちなので困っていました。この本で基本型を学ぶことができて役にたちました。
