あらすじを読んで、「私」というのは十代半ばくらいの女の子かと思っていたのですが、
実際には小説家志望の二十代半ばほどと思われる青年だったので、まずそれが意外でした。
青年である「私」が、お茶にうるさかったり若干常識が欠けていたりする謎の男、
レーイに出会って少し不思議な体験をしていく、という。
なんとも渋いです。電撃では変り種だと思いますが、これがなかなか良い味を出していました。
「私」とレーイのどこか間の抜けたような関係がなんとも。
やや女性向けで、やや大人向けかな？と思いました。

どの章もじわっといい話なのですが、特に気に入っているのが第四章です。
色っぽい隣人のマーリーと主人公のほほえましくも少し切ないやり取りにときめきました。
爆笑、という感じではなく、軽くクスっと笑えるような空気が良かったです。

5.0 out of 5 stars ﾞ奇妙にして親愛なるﾞ青年との物語, 2008/7/3
いわゆるﾞライトノベルﾞというジャンルでは珍しい作品ですね。
こんなに派手さがないラノベは初めて読みました。
でも大当たりでした。
想像していた話をいい意味で裏切ってくれましたね、これは。
謎の青年「彼」と主人公「私」のお話ですが(詳しい内容はぜひとも自分の目で確かめてください^^)、私は5章目の「彼を失いたくなかった」というところではからずしも目頭が熱くなってしまいました。私はそれほどまでに感情移入してしまったようです。全体的にもまとまりがあり、非常に完成度の高いお話だと思います。
帯にも書いてありますが、項を操る手が止まらなくなります。
読後は非常に温かい気持ちになれる作品だと思います。

5.0 out of 5 stars 今、流行りのチョット「ツンデレ」タイプ・・・？, 2008/5/25
「彼」（レーイ）の存在は、自らの内面を写す「鏡」のような存在に思えて面白い、と思いました。
ある者には感謝され、違う者の目には悪魔に写り・・・でも「私」にとっては、紅茶の味にうるさい、ちょっとずれた感覚の「彼」。

指し示すものが曖昧な印象を感じる中で「私」が「彼」に対する第一声「ぬはぁ！」が、印象深いです。

最初、傍観者であるはずの「私」が、いつの間にか「彼」と関わり「失いたくない者」になっていく。（「ホームズとワトソン」のような間柄を彷彿とさせます。）
「彼」も章を追うごとに「私」に心を許し、自らの事を勇気を持って打ち明け（友情らしき）想いを傾けていく、そんな流れが丁寧に書かれていると思いました。

「読み終わるのが勿体無い！」と思える程でした。

過ごす時間が違っても「関わりあって生まれた想い」はずっと「彼」の中に残る・・・
切ないながらも、ホッとできる読後感でした。
