･･･ちゃんと残っていたではないか。
努力家で、しかしそうあり続けたいと願う潜在意識をもつ素性のぺトラが
陰で仕事のために努力しつづけるサンドロに惹かれていくのは当然のことのように思う。
確かにこれは条件付けではない。
･･･このフラテッロは他のフラテッロと比べて設定や心象が細かく描かれている。
6巻〜8巻を読み返してみれば、この二人のことをより理解できた気になれるかも。
「バレエは別人になれるのが･･･」
　「役柄を考えて演じるのって･･･」
「ケンカの実践は苦手の･･･」
　「サンドロ様はこうゆうの嫌い･･･」
「特技は人間観察ってわけ･･･」
　「安全な傍観者に甘んじて･･･」
とかいろいろ。結構細かい。
解ろうとしなかったサンドロ。解ろうとしたぺトラ。
他人になりすまし騙すことが仕事だったロッサーナに、唯一信じることができる娘ができたとき
彼女が職を辞したように。
俺にはこいつしかいないとしながらも、義体の目は窺い知れないとして信用してなかった
ぺトラが、信頼できる他人に変わった時、彼の中で何かが起こったのだろう。
･･･HEAT弾を9mmで撃つのはちょっと無謀な気がするが、まぁ漫画だし。

アレッサンドロの過去と現在をつなぐストーリー、「レディ・ロッソ」が中心。
ぺトラにとって理想的な工作員であるサンドロもまた、かつての自分の師、ロッサーナの偉大な背中を追い続けていた。
ロッサーナの仕事に対する冷徹な態度と、それと隣り合わせの強い孤独。
そんな姿に惹かれていくサンドロ。
しかし、時の流れはロッサーナを1人の「女性」へと変貌させ、サンドロにとってロッサーナは既に追い求める存在ではなくなっていた。
現在と過去がパラレルに進む語り方や、キャラクターの感情の応酬の描写はさすが。
だが、しかし。
ぺトラとサンドロの話は、これで一段落でよいと思う。
過去ではなく、今を生きている少女たちの「幸せ」こそが「ガンスリ」の世界である。

第八巻表紙はペトラ&サンドロ(表紙初の男)で、内容も丸々二人の過去と現在になっている。
六巻、七巻とペトラが軸の話が続き正直なところピノッキオや一期生の話を期待していたが、それでも読ませるドラマ性と うるさすぎないアクション描写はやはりおもしろい。
六巻の展開から賛否両論別れているが、今巻でも容姿が大人のペトラは今までの義体に出来ない任務に就けているし、弱い条件付けによりサンドロへの恋心も真に迫るものへとなっている。
ガンスリは少女達だけではなく、それを取り巻く大人達の心情も魅力の一つであり今巻のサンドロのエピソードも今までのサンドロの見方を変えてくれる。
また今巻で二人のストーリーは一段落した印象を受け、次巻の予告ではアンジェが軸のストーリーを予感させるテロップが出ているので、一期生ファンの読者もまだこの漫画を読み続けても良いだろう。
