時雨沢恵一さんのデビュー作も遂に]巻まで発売しました。
今作の１〜６話は非常に短く、ほんの数分で読み切ることが出来る話が多いです。
色々と考えさせられる物語ばかりです。
そして、最後の第７話、「歌姫のいる国」が大半を占めてあります。
２５０ページを超えるキノの旅にしては長編物語です。

今回のあとがきも意外なところにありましたｗ

ここまでくると時雨沢さんもそろそろ、あとがきに困ってきているようですが、
何処まで続くのでしょうか…
例え、あとがきのネタが無くなっても、本編も非常に感慨深いものがありますし、
続けていって欲しいものです。

今回も良かったですね。
長編『歌姫のいる国』は、とっても話が良かったです。ラストでは笑みが毀れました。キノって、良い奴なんだなぁ。と(笑)
今回のあとがきも良いものでした！思わず爆笑です。
キノファンなら買って損はないですよ！

冒頭のペットやら祈りについての思わずくすりと黒い笑いを零してしまうような社会批判としての寓話こそが、これまで「キノの旅」で編んできた物語のはず。まさに世界は（各個人の心情などは汲まず、不条理であるという意味で）残酷でありつつ、それでも、それだからこそ世界は美しい（こちらはどこを美しいと評価するかは人それぞれだと思う）というものであったはず。

その点、分量からすると本書の本編といっていい歌姫のお話があまりにも甘い…。こういうべたなお話は優勝劣敗を称揚、徹底するキノにはそぐわない、言いようのない違和感を覚えます（他の作品ならばありがちですが）。銃を向けてきた人間は今まで容赦なく撃ち殺してきただけに、宗旨変えあるいは気紛れだとするならばそ理由づけが欲しかった…。
