ＶＯＩ１と同じく再録がほとんどで残念です。しかも表紙がダブルＧなのに記事におけるダブルＧの割合が少なすぎます。二本立てになった漫画も二本ともダブルＧとは関係なく、表紙買いすると後悔するかもしれません。ただ内容はよかったので、個人的には許せる範囲内です。相変わらずファンアイテムの域を出ないので知らない人には敷居が高いかも。

vol.1と同じくなかなか詳しく書いてあった。スペシャルワークスも漫画も前回に引けをとってはいない。ただ、vol.3を出すつもりなのか、αIIIに関することは深くまで語られてはいなかった。しかし、このvol.2が出たことにより、OGシリーズ、αシリーズをほぼすべて網羅している。特に、パーソナルトルーパー開発史には驚かされるくらい緻密な設定が織り込まれている。最近の某ロボットアニメよりも詳しく描かれているのではないだろうか。今なら１・２セットで販売もしているから、スパロボを知らなくても、ロボット好きにはお勧めしたい本である。

スパロボオリジナルのMook本第2弾です。
内容は・・・・ヒュッケバイン系、あとちょこちょこ・・・なんていうんでしょう。なんとも中途半端なないようになってます。ヒュッケバイン系！ダブルG系！！・・・だったらまだしもヒュッケバイン系、ダイゼンガー、アウセンザイター、スレードゲルミル、龍人機、虎龍王の紹介でした。龍虎王は？立体化されてないアウセンザイターが出てるなら第3次αでダブルGシリーズの3号機がわかったるのだから大雷王は？真龍虎王、真虎龍王は？！みたいな感じでした。またパイロット紹介もクスハ、ラトゥーニ？（なぜ？と思われるかも知れないですけど恐らくパイロット模型化されたから）だけでした。ゼンガーさんは？レーツェルは？ブリットは？ウォーダンは？MK-IIIの正式パイロットらしいリュウト君は？！・・・まったく紹介されてませんでした。なんか非常に期待外れな内容で残念でした。
しかし！！これには第3次αのオリジナルメカの設定画が載ってます！！後継機も！！！・・・・とテンションが上がったと思いきや立絵、後ろ姿・・・だけでした。一部もう1画ぐらいありましたけど・・・まったくもって詳細は載ってませんでした・・・昔HOBBYJAPANに載ってた第2次α並の情報を期待したんですけどね・・・見事に裏切られました・・・・またケイサス・エフェスの説明に「イデ」の単語が使われており「ORIZINAL GENERATION」じゃないじゃん！！って思いました。非常に残念です・・・
しかしこのシリーズ、普通のスパロボとオリジナルとでごちゃごちゃになってしまう情報をきれいに整理してくれてすばらしいと思います。今回は個人的に残念でしたけど今後も楽しみにしています。スパロボオリジナルが好きな方たちはぜひ検討してみて下さいね！！
