9巻もやはり既刊と同じく面白い。この巻は師匠やシズの出番も多いのでその辺のキャラが好きな方も楽しめるのではないかと。

本編の方は、短い話が多く、比較的読みやすかった。
個人的にオススメするのは『電波の国』と『自然保護の国』かな。
9巻では一番『キノ』らしい話かと。
評判の良い『あとがき』も今回はちょっぴり違う感じで驚いた。
が、ある所にあった『あとがキノ』や、『あとがきズ』はいつも通りの時雨沢さんのテンションだったのでちょっぴり安心（笑）

電撃文庫にしては珍しく淡々とした文章で書かれているので、好きな方はかなりハマるのだろうけど、嫌いな方は極端に嫌うのでは？（私は前者）
堅苦しくもなく、かといって明るい感じでもなく。そんな中途半端なところが、他の電撃作品とは違う魅力かと。

表紙の女の子がかわいかったこと。
一人称がボクだったこと。
といった不純な理由で本書を手にとりましたｗ

第１巻からずっと読んでいます。
本書は例えるなら絵の無い絵本です。
それほど場景を想像させてくれます。

短いお話が続くのですが
毎回どのお話もオチに驚かされます。
良い意味でいつも予想を裏切られて新鮮でした。

派手さはなく、お色気ものろけもありません。
むしろちょっとグロテスクな面があるかも。

本シリーズがきっかけとなり
同氏の書籍はすべて読んでいます。

いわゆるファンタジー文庫からかなり遠ざかっていたのですが
私の中ではロードス島戦記、風の大陸以来のヒットです。
これからも楽しみにしています。

　マンネリ化という声が多く聞こえます。理解に苦しみます。作者は１巻のあとがきでこう書いています。

　「主人公のキノが、相棒のエルメスと旅をします。あちらこちらの国を見て回ります。・・・・以上です」

　この作品はこれに尽きるのです。物語上のサプライズ、あっと驚く展開というものがエッセンスである作品ではないのです。旅人を通してみた国々の抱える問題をどう「なんとなく感じる」ことが出来るのかが重要なのです。

　マンネリ化なんて言っている方たちにはそこを考えてほしいですね。しっかりとした内容がある本です。プロットもしっかりしてますし、読み応えがあります。それだけ苦労して書き上げている作品に対して「マンネリ化」の一言で切って捨てるなんて作者に失礼です。そんな読み方はフェアじゃありません。

　ちゃんと読んであげましょう。
