4巻まで読んだ時点で、
さてどのように収束させるものかと楽しみにしていたのですが、
個人的には非常に安易と思える決着でした。
しばらく、｢……そんな勝ち方ありかい｣と茫然。
あと1巻増やして、しっかりと決着つけて欲しかった……。

橋本紡先生の作風を見ればわかる通り、その作品は設定が云々言うよりも、各登場人物の細やかな心情描写を得意とします。次回作の『半分の月』シリーズにいたってはＳＦ的要素が全く無いという、ライトノベル世界では超がつくほどの異例な作品になっています。それでもその素晴らしい描写はＳＦ要素の必要性を全く感じさせない作品に出来上がっています。

アクションシーンもドキドキするような場面も無くて。登場人物の心の描写を武器に筆を執っている著者です。それでも私はその作風は好きです。言ってしまえば地味です。それを良い意味として捉えるか悪い意味として捉えるかは、やはり好みの分かれではないでしょうか。

このシリーズも橋本先生らしい作風に出来上がっていて、『半分の月』を最初に読んだ私としても、割と面白く読むことが出来ました。ただ、やはり武器が「心情描写」に尽きるので、ＳＦとして読むと「え！？」と思う方いるでしょう。

前述の通り、これは著者の作風が好きか嫌いか。これに尽きると思います。著者の作品が好きで、このシリーズはどうなんだろう？と考えている方は安心して買っていいと思います。それ以外でこの著者は初めて！という方は『半分の月がのぼる空』シリーズのほうが数の上では売れていますし、万人うけはしやすいと思います。私もそのシリーズが一番好きですし。

「Change the world」タイトルからEric Claptonですね（笑）
橋本さんらしいというか…。

二巻から四巻で語られたほんのすこしの言葉、……鉄棒や図書館など、今まで現れたほんのすこしの空間が、Repriseとして現れます。
空間は同じでも、そこに立っている拓己たちの関係は徐々に変貌を見せています。

無限に続くような殺伐としたイノセントウォーズの果てに何が待っているのか。
拓己たちは何を失い、何を手に入れたのか。

私たちに残されるのは、切なさと寂しさ、……そしてちょっとの笑顔です。
