この作品はいい意味でも悪い意味でもライトノベルの代表的なものだと思う。ライトノベルとしての、一種の完成形なのではないだろうか。
可愛いイラストや、メチャクチャだが楽しませる文章、明らかに狙っている萌えなキャラ。それは確かにあまり小説としてはよくないのかもしれないが、別にみんながみんな、そんな文学的なものが読みたいわけじゃないし、少しくらい、こういうバカな小説があってもいいと思う。
ストーリーも、誰がどう見てもあの作品をパロっているがその要素もまた、この作品のいいところだと思う。

　アホな話です。アホな天使とアホな主人公と、アホなライバル天使が織り成す、ホントにどうしようもないくらいアホな話です（ラストはちょっと感動するけど）。何かつらいことがあったとき、どうしようもなく疲れたときに読んでみてください。

　
ぴぴるぴるぴるぴぴるぴ~♪

　きっと何もかもどうでもよくなります。一家に一冊、常備薬代わりにどうぞ。

　……もう少しちゃんと説明します。ドクロちゃんのアホな行動の数々もかなり笑えますが、主人公・草壁桜くんのセリフに含まれる細かいギャグのほうがむしろツボにはまります。

「今日はドクロちゃんの大好きな、美味しいけどカラダに悪そうな赤いウインナーと昨夜の残りのカレーだよ」

とか、

「僕の身体、なんか違う!ヒトになってる！　ああ！　これペリーだよ！」

　ちょっとコントのシナリオっぽいですが、とにかくセリフのひとつひとつにまで小ネタが満載です。オススメですよ、ホントに。

　このご時世に、ここまで血にまみれた作品を出版してしまう電撃文庫は
ぶっとんでいる。勇気もすごい。ただし、お馬鹿な意味で血みどろです。
　そんなぶっ飛んだ作品を書いている作者、おかゆさんは、もと劇団員の裏方だったらしく、経験上、脚本や劇展開の「いろは・・」を作品に投影して書いているのでしょう。なかなか読み応えあります。いろんな意味で。
　夏目漱石の「我輩は猫である」の様な、主人公視点の口語表現で書かれた作品の進化、暴走系、血みどろと「和み」が共存するエキセントリック名作品ここにありです。
　ついでに、絵を描いているとりしもさん、同人のビッグネームだそうです。
