小林 泰三
1962年京都生まれの作家。95年『玩具修理者』で第2回日本ホラー小説大賞短編賞受賞。日本推理作家協会、日本SF作家クラブに所属

田中 哲弥
1963年神戸生まれ。84年星新一ショートショートコンテストで優秀賞を受賞。吉本興業の台本作家、広告代理店でのコピーライターを経たのち『大久保町の決闘』(電撃文庫)で作家デビュー

田中 啓文
1962年大阪生まれの作家。93年に『凶の剣士』で第二回ファンタジーロマン大賞に入賞。以来SFからミステリーまで幅広く作家活動を展開中

牧野 修

　プレステ２のゲーム「蚊」をもとに編まれたアンソロジー。　
　「赤い家/田中啓文」殺人＆殺蚊事件を、人間の刑事と蚊の私立探偵がコンビで解くことに！ダジャレたっぷりで楽しい作品。蚊探偵・かおりがカワイイ。
　「か/田中哲弥」蚊を殺すのを目撃すると、激怒する男の哀しい過去とは。「蚊」度は低め。

　「刻印/小林泰三」日本にエイリアンが現れた！そいつはなんと、身長２ｍの…。異種族間の哀しいロマンス。
　「蚊/牧野修」男が巻き込まれた、奇怪な現実。日常の裏側をのぞき見ると、そこにあるものは？守護蟲、虫文、イザナキ機関、ネクロダイバー、黄泉書簡化…と奇怪な設定が楽しい。

　「タタミ・マットとゲイシャ・ガール/森奈津子」地球最期の吸血鬼である「わたくし」は、ゲーム!中で蚊に姿を変えられてさまよう。乙女の血を吸うことにより、吸血鬼に戻れるというのだが？ラストが効いている。
　「訪問者/飯野文彦」山田の家にやってきた部下が、いきなり自分語りを始める。その凍りつくような内容とは。センチメンタルな物語。
