パニックを擬音使わずに表現できる人。
だから読み飛ばさずにゆっくり読んでほしい。
物語的には１冊完結ではないが、余韻に浸ることができると思う。
オーバーフローする思考を整理できたら、２冊目に進もう。

一気に読んだらもったいない。

UFOを探すためにひと夏を費やした浅羽直之…
そしてプールに行った時、謎の少女に出くわします。
そこから始まる物語。

思わず甘い恋愛ものかと思いきや大間違い。
新聞部のトンデモ部長、水前寺邦博や浅羽の妹夕子
そして忘れてはならない椎名真由美など
とてつもない濃い人物が出てきます。
作品によってはしっとりとした恋ものがありますが
打って変わってバカ爆発というものもあります。

でも文章は決して悪くはなく、
読みがいがあります。
そしてあっという間に読み進められます。

そして伊里野の寂しげな雰囲気…
この雰囲気が好きな人にはお勧めだと思います。

「アニメのような小説だ」と、読んでいる最中に思いました。
「これはアニメになるな」と思ったわけではなく、アニメになることを知っていたわけではなく、読んでいくだけで、頭の中ではアニメーションとして物語が進んでいく……現代的な、映像的文章でこれほどの筆力を誇る人は、ライトノベルという垣根に関係なく中々お目にかかったことはありません。

　けれど、それ以上に好感が持てたのは、登場人物たちの、まだ恋愛と呼ぶことすらもためらわれるような、淡い恋愛模様。
見ていて笑ってしまうぐらい幼くて、不器用で、ギクシャクしてて、何もかも上手くいかない……でも確かに自分も、中学の頃はこんな恋愛をしてた（いやホントですよ！？　妄想じゃなくて！）なぁ……と、懐かしく思い出させてくれる、そんなお話です。

……僕としては、このままの路線で行ってほしかった……。
