5.0 out of 5 stars 「キノの旅」という題名しか知らない人のために, 2003/9/9
「キノの旅」という小説を読む前に、どこかで「旅人キノとモトラドのエルメスの切ない旅を描いた作品」という宣伝を聞いたけど、はっきり言ってピンと来なかったという人が多いと思います。
そこで、この作品をもう少しわかりやすく紹介します。

まず、モトラドとはバイクのこと。つまり、エルメスは、キノの乗るバイクのことを言っています。このバイクは何としゃべることができるバイクで、非常に天然な性格をしております。

そして、それに突っ込みを入れるのが旅人のキノというわけです。もちろん突っ込みを入れるだけではなく、非常に強いです。銃を使うことについては右に出る人はいないのではないでしょうか。

というわけで、その個性的なバイクと旅人キノがいろんな国を回って旅をして行くと!いうのが「キノの旅」という作品なのです。

はじめ私は何気なく、黒星紅白さんの
絵に惹かれこの本を手にとりました。
それももちろん見事に大当たりだったんですが、
それ以上にストーリー。
簡素な言葉と思わず吹き出してしまうような小ネタ
そして何よりまるで今の日本の現状を
あらわしているような哲学的な内容。
読んでいて切なくなってくることもあったり、

それでも、まだなお旅を続けるキノに元気付けられたりで、
活字の苦手な人にもお勧めできます。
何より一番のポイントは後書きなんですがね。

キノという少女とバイクのモトラドの旅を描く作品の２作目。
この巻でもいろいろな国のお話しやサイドストーリーが
書かれていますが、一番のオススメは「優しい国」です。

以前この国を訪問した旅人には良い印象、
むしろ悪い印象を与えていた。その国にキノは向かうことにしました。
キノはひとつの国に滞在する期間を三日間と決めていますが、
果たして実際はどういう国なのか？
読んで確かめてください。感動します。

あと、時雨沢氏のあとがきは本当に面白いです。
