5.0 out of 5 stars ブギーシリーズでもちょっと影が薄い作品, 2005/9/4
やはり１作目の「笑わない」の衝撃。
人気作品「エンブリオ上下」「パンドラ」。
どうしてもこれらと比べるとちょっと半歩下がってしまう作品が
この「歪曲王」だ。
しかし私はこの作品はかなり好きである。
「笑わない」の次に発行されたのが「イマジネーター上下」、そして「パンドラ」なのだが
「歪曲王」は「笑わない」の継承作品であるといえる。
「笑わない」で登場した人気キャラ「竹田君」、風紀委員「新刻敬」、田中君、
そして「世界の敵」も登場する。
彼ら全体を補完する物語であり言い換えれば「笑わない」の外伝である。
その点で大いに満足できること間違いない。

しかも今後のシリーズでも登場する「健太郎」や「社長」などの魅力的キャクターもみることができる。
特に「健太郎」がんばれ！と思ってしまうのも
楽しめるところだろう

　この作品は「笑わない」のキャラが出てくるのが１つの魅力です。
もちろんそれだけではないのですが、その後の竹田啓司や新刻敬、田中君などのキャラ達が出てくるとなんだか懐かしい~なんて思ってしまいました。

●歪曲王の意外な正体については、まあいいとして霧間凪を慕う健太郎のほほえましいシーンなどがかわいらしくて好きです。

自分の心の中にある、ゆがみ。
後悔しても後悔しきれないような何か。
それを素敵なものに変えてくれる人が現れたら、あなたはどうする？
その人に従って、夢のような世界で生きていたい？
それとも、現実を選ぶ？

誰の心にもあるであろう、後悔やゆがみを扱っているところはとても興味深い。ただ、この方法で解決するときとしないときがあるだろうなー、と思ってちょっと不満が残る。話はもちろん面白かったので、星は４つです。
