こんなタイプのラノベは初めてでした。読んでいて「自分はなぜラノベを読むようになったのか」「本を読むとは何か」というような事を考えさせられました。
しかし内容はそんな真面目なモノではありません。「ケモノミミ少女に人間の耳は付いているのか」「３次元にハーレムは存在するのか」「『にゃ』など特徴的な語尾の存在意義」、その他諸々について軽小説部、通称ラノベ部の少年少女たちが語り合うような話です。人前で読まないほうが良いです。「何ニヤニヤしてんの？」とキモがられます。
構成は10〜30ページ程度の、日常を断片的に取り上げたような話が20個弱あるというモノで、４コマ漫画を読んでいるような感覚でした。よう太先生の描くキャラクターも可愛く魅力的で、話のぽわぽわ感を高めるのに一役買っています。

私の言葉程度ではこの作品の面白さは語れません。是非お手に取って、ご自分で確かめてみてください。最高ですよ。

ラノベ部の面々がリレー小説に挑む回が最高でした。
ちょっとイタ目の小説をくっつけて行くだけで、あら不思議
そこには大爆笑の混沌ワールドが広がるのです。
登場人物達の個性を生かしつつこんな笑いが取れるのかと
目から鱗でした。

　軽小説部という、主にライトノベルを読む部に所属しているメンバーのトークを読む感じのラノベ。
　初めてラノベに接したという物部文香という少女が一応主役といった感じで、ラノベのセリフとかをネタにしたり、雑談したり、リレー小説をやったり、本当に日々の活動をそのまま描いたような作品。しかし、文香に薦めるという形でラノベの啓蒙活動的な発言もあったりして、たまに侮れない。作中で紹介されるラノベは、実名が登場しないものも含めて実在すると思うので、そのあたりを想像しながら読むのも楽しいだろう。
