昔とあるサイトにあったアプリ。そこで初めてナルキッソスを知りました。
内容はアプリで知ってましたけど書籍化してたのが嬉しく買ってしまいました。
話を見て、自分が受けた感じは限りなく灰色でした。前作と一緒でした。
しかし今回は新キャラの登場。そして2にあたるサイドセカンドからの乱入。1と2を知ってる人はより楽しめると思います。
ライトノベルっぽく見えますが、軽くなく重い内容となってます。
続編が出るなら是非購入したい作品です。

　有体もなくいってしまうとラノベとなる．それゆえに読者層は限定され（表紙を見てどれほどの人が手に取ろうと思うのだろうか・・・），ベストセラーとなることは在り得ない．用いられている文章もゲームチック，拒否反応を起こす人が多いであろうことは火を見るよりも明らかだ．
　それでも私はこの本を薦めたい．ラストシーンに立ち会ったときの主人公の行動は最善だったのか？そうでなかったのならばどうすればよかったのか？そこだけでも十二分に読む価値はある．

超有名ノベルゲームの文庫化です。
正直、ライトノベルの文庫からこの小説を出すことはどうかと思いました。明らかに浮いています。しかし、それでも自分はこの作品を推したいと思います。
生きるということ。自由ということ。自殺、境界、愛、運命……。
色々なことについて考えさせられます。
一部はナルキッソスとナルキッソス-side second-の内容が入り混じっていたり、また一部は、文庫用にオリジナルストーリーが書き加えられていたりします。
そしてこのストーリーを読み終えたとき、理由の分からない涙が頬を流れ落ちることでしょう。

この作者さんはゲームシナリオライターであり、また、できるだけ「泣かせゲー」にならないようにしたと言っているので、この小説に感じる想いは人それぞれだと思います。
訳が分からないと思う人も当然いると思います。自分自身も、あまり分かりません。
しかし、自分にはこの小説（本家のゲームも）の主題を理解するために人は生きていると思えてなりません。

読者に強く訴えかけるこの一冊こそが、過去に類を見ない、そして未来にも現れることのないであろう最高峰の『ライトノベルの文学』であると思います。
