ハワイ旅行の際にマヌーさんの本をかなり参考にしたので、
ソウルの方も買ってみたのですが、まったくレベルが違いました。
ソウルに関しては、リピーターの私の方が、
もっとお値打ち情報を知ってるかも・・・。
少なくとも、ホテルは今ならレジデンスタイプが一番お得だと思いますが、
１軒も載っていないのが残念！

巷のガイドブックとは違い、店から金を貰わず、自ら全ての店を体験したと豪語していますが、内容は、全く期待外れ。
一軒一軒見ると、ソウルナビで、不評の店も結構載っているし、
特に、絶対オススメとされている「中庭を眺める個室で韓定食」の店など、ここまで記載内容と実際が違うのも珍しいという位、酷いものでした。
流石に、腹が立って、店に指摘しても、「これが普通だ。」と平然と開き直る始末。
自腹（出版社経費含む）で体験したのではなく、店から接待された内容を書いたのではないかという感じですね。
お値打ち･･･全く有りません。

この手のガイドブックで改訂版が出ること自体珍しいことかもしれませんし，それだけソウルの情報を必要とする人が多いのかもしれません。
内容的には，“使えるデータ”と“そうでないデータ”に分かれると思います。
韓国は表面的には相当自由度がアップしているように見えますが，そうは云っても心の内にはまだまだ儒教的な考えも残っておりまして，どこまで女性目線で取材できたかがポイントだと思います。
食い物編は，たしかに“使えるデータ”が多いと思いますが，ファッション系やお泊り系は“そうでないデータ”のように感じます。
まあ，商業ベースでないデータをここまで集められていることには敬意を表しますし，よくできていると思いますので，再改定の際には是非韓国の女性に取材協力してもらって，完成度を高めていただきたいと思います。
