本巻は４つの短編が収録された外伝です。本編のストーリーとは全く関係ありません。

タバサが、ルイズや才人たちと知り合う前(本編１巻第３章以前)のタバサのお話です。
北花壇騎士７号として、タバサが遂行した４つの任務を通じて、どのような人生を
歩んで来たかを、描いています。

無口なタバサとその使い魔のシルフィードを理解してもらおう！好きになってもらおう！
という作品です。ルイズも才人も出番無しです。チョロっとキュルケが顔を出す他は、
本編の登場人物は登場しません。

作者は、タバサがだいぶ好きなようです。本編の１０巻では、タバサが準主役になっています。
本編１０巻を読む前に、この外伝を読むと、１０巻が盛り上がると思います。

内容】使い魔のシルフィードが喋れるという設定です。
ボケ役のシルフィードとタバサが母国ガリアから来る
指令をこなす物語４篇を収録。

批評】タバサの現在状態を考えると、少し重たい話かと
思いましたが、ボケ役のシルフィードのお陰で楽しい話になっています。

まあ、もちろんタバサですので恋愛や熱血は無いのですが
小さな体で一生懸命に頑張る姿は応援したくなります。
たぶん、ルイズよりタバサのことが好きになる人が増えるのでは無いでしょうか？

本編の方でもガリア方面がキナ臭くなっていますし
タバサと新キャラの喋るシルフィードの出番が増えてきそうで楽しみです。

無口キャラタバサのスピンオフなんか大丈夫かと思ったが、喋る翼竜シルフィードのおかげで以外にも良くまとまっている。
短編集みたいなものだが、ゼロの使い魔の世界観をさらによく知ることができるし、タバサのキャラ像や立場もより明確に描写されている。
