　『フラガール』の映画公開日を待ちきれずに居た時、書店でみつけて思わず買ってしまいました。鉱山の閉山という重い状況の中で頑張った人々の姿が感激的で、フラダンスというコメディー的な要素のみでなく楽しめました。映画の画面が目に浮かぶようで、ますます公開日が待ちきれなくはなってしまいまいしたが、勇気づけられる内容でした。読み終わって職場の机の上に置いておいたら、次々に同僚に回し読みされて、多くの人に愛されています。映画を見る前に読んでも、映画の楽しみは無くなりませんでした。

ボクは、映画を観てから、この本を読みましたが、
作品に忠実に記載されていて、映画の場面とリンクしながら読み進め、
再び感動することができました。
映画では説明されない当時の時代背景や人物描写が細かく描かれているので、
より作品に入り込むことができました。
映画フラガールに感動した人は、ぜひこの本も読まれることをおすすめします。
付属の栞が、ハワイアンリゾートの割引券になっていました。
いつかはボクも訪れてみたいと思っています。
