こういう人を天才と言うんだなぁと素直に思う本だった。
筆者にとても興味がわいた。何か一緒にできないものか。
ロポットを作る際の、手の動き方には感動すら覚える。
ただ本人も本は読まないと言ってるとおり、本としての出来はロボットのレベルまでは行っていない。
工作とか車をいじったり、そういった事が好きな人はどきどきできる部分もある。僕もその一人。
しかし、それ以外の人には（本としては）あまり勧められないかもしれない。そして自分も読み返しはしないと思うので、辛いかもしれないが星はみっつ。

ロボットを仕事とするための一つの生き方で、おもしろいエピソードがたくさんのってます。最近のホビーロボットの状況を知りたい人にもおすすめです。

筆者の趣味には、自動車があり、カーデザインに造形が深いようである。あこがれの世界的カーデザイナー、ジョルジェット・ジウジアーロ氏がデザインした製品をいくつか所有しているということで、高橋氏がデザインするロボット達にもその影響がかいま見られるようだ。
彼の実家があたかもイタリアのカロッツェリアの工房のようである。そして、氏のデザインするロボット達には、趣味の良いセンス溢れる造形とそれを台無しにしない「ShinWalk」という特許技術が採用されているという。まるで、超一流のカーデザイナーがその表面的な造形だけでなく技術的裏付けまでしっかりと身につけてデザインしているようである。羨ましい限りのおしゃれなロボット達である。
