いしいしんじってなんだか不思議な作家です。

童話作家といった方がいいのかもしれません。
もちろん子供が読む、というより大人のための童話。
すごく不思議な、それでいて良く分かるような、
そんな大人のための童話。

今作は
○○の△△さん。
という風なタイトルの作品が３０本掲載されています。
ほとんどの話しが
リアリティーを求めていない。
もちろん童話だから
空想の世界でいいんだけど。

読んでいて、
なんだか、本当に不思議な気持ちになります。
現実にいそうな、でもいたら困るような･･･。
でも、会ってみたい、そんな魅力的な人たちであふれています。

しかし、なんとも理不尽な話しも転がっていて、
読んだら切なくなったりもします。
いっぺんに読むんじゃなくて、
少しずつかみしめながら読むと
いいんじゃないか、と思える作品集です。

一編ごとは2ページから、長いものでも7ページ。小説というよりも散文詩の趣です。
まとめ読みするべき作品ではなく、折に触れ一編、また一編と読むのが良い。雪が大地に解けて大地に染みこむように、心の中に染みこんでくる作品集です。目の前の活字が消え、心が少し潤うのが実感できます。
無心で読んでみてください。

最初から物語だと分かっているのに、
もしかしたらホントに有った事かも…こんな人がいるのかも…
と思わせてしまう物語です。

一つ一つのお話はとても短くさらっと読めてしまいますが、
内容は心に時々ちくっと刺さります。
とても優しいお話もあれば、後味の悪いお話もありますが、
それがこの物語を現実から程よい距離につないでいる様に思えます。
