あらすじなどを読んだときにはラブコメなのかな？と思っていたのですが、内弁慶というか、表面上は大人しいのに頭では黒いことを考えている女の子の心の成長を丁寧に描いた作品でした。
ギャグテイストのコミカルな一人称なのですが、主人公の心の動きとかもきっちり描写してあるところが素晴らしいです。
妹をはじめ、キャラクターも魅力的で読んでいて楽しい。
ラストの展開に賛否両論あるようですが、作品のテーマを考えると、必然的にこうなるだろうという良いラストだと思います。
綺麗にまとまっているのですが……成長した主人公の活躍する続編も読んでみたいような気がします。

MF文庫Jライトノベル新人賞佳作受賞作。
読み始めて２，３ページで腹を抱えて笑ってしまった。

物語は主人公のネクラな電波系少女の一人称でつづられる。
この少女がものすごく魅力的だ。
彼女の一人称視点なので客観的な描写はほとんどないのだが、
読み手が脳内補完でその光景を客観的に眺めると…
うん、この娘は間違いなくかわいいと思う。
そんなかわいくて放っておけない、ネクラ少女の
成長していく姿をご堪能ください。

ギャグのセンスも良く、テンポもそこそこ。
いくつか気になる点はあるもののそれらには目をつぶることにして、
それら欠点を補って余りある魅力を感じられる作品。
これからこの物語がどのように膨らんでいくのか。
作者の今後に期待したいです。

『ネクラ少女は黒魔法で恋をする』です。MF文庫Jライトノベル新人賞佳作受賞、ということで。
一人称の語りにちょっと特徴があります。内弁慶な性格でしかも黒魔法が趣味と特技であるという女子高生が主人公ですので。
主人公真帆がタイトル通り恋をし、成長していく過程を、黒魔法ネタを交えた毒舌もスパイスとして効かせながらも優しい筆致で描いていて、基本コメディの楽しい作品になっています。
周囲を固めるキャラも、演劇部員、同級生、妹、古本屋さんなど、個性的です。
イラストも良いです。

オチは……読者の好みによっては受け容れ難いという人もいるかもしれませんが、物語の展開としては辿り着くべきところにきちんと着陸させた、という感じがします。

ただ、本巻がきちんとまとめすぎた影響もあるのでしょうが、第2巻以降の評価はやや微妙ですので、その辺も念頭に置いた上で取り組まれるのがよろしいでしょう。
