今回の望郷編で最後となってしまいました。このシリーズは完結。いやはや残念です。
私はこのぐだぐだ感が好きです。
「この疑問すっごい気になってたんだよね~」と思ってたテーマについてはすぐに終わってしまうのですが、
これは「どうでもいい」と思うテーマにはひっそりと白熱した意見が出てきて長いこと話しているし。
今回も御器所さんのクイズがあります。一問でも解けたらすごいなぁ。

シリーズでは私はこの望郷編と最初の本が気に入っている。
相変わらずなのだけれど、最後ということもあって
この望郷編は幾分いつもの会話よりつっこんでいるところが
ところどころあるような気にさせられる。今までのパターンという
ものも踏襲しているので、「たまにはこんな話題もしてみましょうか」
というときの”たまに”という意味がすぐに伝わってくるのが
また楽しい。

テーマもわりと一般的（反応する人の範囲が広いという意味で）な
ものが多いようにも思える。たまに、なにかふとアイディアや
思考の方向に興味が湧く話の展開がたまに入っていて、だらだら
不可解な会話が続いているような印象があるのも相変わらずで
楽しめた

2003年3月20日に最初の『森博嗣の浮遊研究室』リリース。助走は2001年10月6日にWEBダ・ヴィンチで始まっていて森氏と相変わらず名前が難しい3人のスタッフとの会話の中で話が進行するというメディア・ファクトリー、I子氏(サイボーグとしてとみに有名である)と森氏の策略に満ちたシリーズである。

しかし、前のWEB日記をまとめた5冊には遠く及ばない出来映えである。はっきりいって設定自体に無理があって話にリアリティが感じられず、途中で何のためにこれを読んでいるのか、という疑問にぶち当たるのである。これを5冊続けるのははっきり言って前作5冊を読破するのとは意味が違う。読んでいて何の参考にもならないし、共感も感じられないのだ。まあ、そういう奴は読まなくていいということだろうが。

はっきり言ってぐたぐたしすぎ。
