高橋みどりさんの本、全部持ってますが、一番おすすめです。
今までは、器中心、食中心でしたが、今回は違いました！！
みどりさんのお部屋、収納、本棚、ちょっとづつ覗けます。。。
なかでも食器棚にきれいに器が並んだすがたは本当におしゃれ。
本人はインテリアにはあまり興味がないっておっしゃってたけど、
のんびり、ほこほこいい感じのインテリアです。
センスのある方は一生懸命にならなくても自分の好きなものを
集めていくだけで、おしゃれになっちゃうんですね！
うらやましい。。。
この本をお茶を飲みながら読んだ後、無性に掃除がしたくなり
ました。

著者が一人暮らしを始めてからの「部屋」や「暮らし」についてのエッセイ。

ごくごく薄手の本（87ページ）に
著者の部屋の写真が豊富に載っています。

このうち数枚には、著者の姿も。
ベリーショートで、すっきりしたボーイッシュなファッション。
なぜ、著者のファッションに触れたかというと、
文章も、部屋の印象も、中性的な著者のイメージに重なるから。

室内はとてもスッキリしています。
それだけに、そこにあるものは
妥協せず、本当に気に入ったものだけが置かれてるという印象。

そして、一度部屋に迎え入れたものは、
何十年経とうと、ときに手を加えてアレンジしつつ大切に使っています。

人やモノ、土地への愛情の深さ、著者の美感、
そういったことが肩肘張らない文や写真から
等身大で伝わってくるのがとても心地良いです。

大好きな高橋さんの新刊、楽しみにしていました。

イメージはタイトルにも書いたとおり、「エッセイ付きの写真集」と言った感じです。
個人的に文字だけのエッセイよりは著者の生活を垣間見れるような写真があって欲しいのでこの本はとても読みやすく感じました。
雑誌「クウネル」で高橋さんの前のお家を特集したものを見て以来、彼女のこだわり過ぎないオシャレ過ぎないインテリアに共感してました。
新居もそんなイメージを壊さずに生活しやすいお家を作られています。
文章もそんなに多くはないのでお茶の時間にノンビリ読みたいなぁと思っています。

もちろんいつまでも手元に置いておきたい本です。
