彼女を著す著書はたくさんあります。写真集は高価なのでちょっと手が
でなかった方も、はじめて彼女の世界に飛び込もうとする方にも
ぴったりの本が出版されたという気がします。豊富な写真（彼女の表情、服装、金銭的ではない豊かな暮らしぶりが充分すぎるほと伝わってきます。山羊やふくろうや自然たちも圧巻）彼女の独り言にも似た輝ける言葉の数々・・密度の濃さに驚かされると思います。

短い言葉と美しい写真がセットになった本。
その短い言葉の奥にあるメッセージがとても心に響きます。
一番わたしが気に入った言葉は、コレです。
心は一人ひとり違います。
その意味では、人はいつも”ひとり”なのよ。

第二の人生に入って野菜作りの日々の小生の畑の一画は、花の好きな妻
に占領されつつある。雑誌やTVで紹介されているターシャさんの生き様
に魅せられて、早速「ターシャさんの庭」とターシャの言葉三部作を妻
への贈り物として購入した。結婚４０年目にして初のサプライズド・プ
レゼントである。どのページも感謝の気持ちに溢れ、自由奔放だが少し
の衒いもない珠玉の言葉の洪水である。他人に押し付けるのではなくあ
くまで自分の気持ちを正直に語っているのだが、それに触れる人の心を
明るく豊かにする。小生も共々虜になった。今９冊までになったが、
娘、孫の来訪と歩調を合わせるように蔵書も増え、ターシャさんを知る
人の輪も広がって行くことだろう。
