過去の名著、名作を文庫として残し、著者、出版社、囲碁ファン三者の利益となることを目的として、MYCOM囲碁文庫が企画された。本企画の第一弾として、「一手の手筋大集合」（1992年成美堂出版刊の文庫本）をタイトルを変更して再販する。
「ひと目の手筋」は、そのタイトルどおり基本的手筋集。難しい問題を時間をかけて解くより、簡単な問題を数多く解くことが、級位者にとっては上達の早道、が著者の考え。繰り返し問題を解くことで自然に筋を覚えられるように作られている。囲碁界のグランドスラムを達成し、第二十五世本因坊の称号を持つ著者が問う全167問。

手筋と詰碁の勉強は、碁が上達するための車の両輪と言われています。本書では、難しい手筋を一つ身につけるよりもやさしい手筋をたくさんやってみることが大事という趣旨でまとめました。全部で一六七問です。

　７級くらいの頃、 「ひと目の手筋」と「ひと目の詰碁」を、毎日、繰り返し、くり返しやりました。ボロボロになるころには、碁会所で初段くらいで打っていました。
　今でも、ポカが出ると相手に失礼なので、対局前のウォーミングアップに本書を使います。その時は、５分間くらいで本の半分ほどをやっています。
　私の碁の本の中では、一番付き合いの長い本です。

「ひと目の詰碁」と同じシリーズの手筋版です。

棋力がいまいち伸びないと悩んでいる方や、始めて少し経験をつんだ方、
基礎がどうも甘いという方は、何度か一通りやってみると
基礎がしっかりするので、とても効果的だと思います。

自分も基礎が甘いという理由で何度かやってみましたが、
状況に応じた手筋を対局で活かすことができるようになり、
上達したと実感を持つことができました。

ですが、この本だけでなく、並行して「ひと目の詰碁」や
棋譜並べを行っていくと、効果は何倍にもなると思います。

内容も易しいものばかりですが、だからこそ飽きずにでき、
上達につながっていくと思うので、背伸びして難解なものをやる前に
是非この一冊をやってみて下さい。

囲碁をはじめて一年。なかなかうまくならず、どう勉強していいかもわからなくて、もうやめようかなと思っていたときに、友人にすすめられ毎日実際に石をおきながら問題を解いていました。効果抜群！そうだったのかと気づくことがいっぱいで楽しくなります。初級者に絶対おすすめです！
