著者はテレビでおなじみの政治評論家。
中学生にもわかるように選挙や議会制民主主義を説明する。
ＮＨＫの「週刊こどもニュース」のようなものといえばわかり易いだろう。

「１４歳からの」という枕詞がついているが、大人にもおすすめである。
最低限これくらいは知っておくべきということが、簡潔に書かれているのだから。
むしろ、大人をターゲットにしたのではないかとレビュアーが考えてしまうのは、
世の大人たちに失礼過ぎるだろうか。
