1974年生まれ。関西在住。
2003年7月より「きょうの猫村さん」をネット上で連載。
2005年7月に単行本『きょうの猫村さん 1』を2006年5月に『きょうの猫村さ
ん 2』を出版し、
日本中の老若男女を虜にした。
2007年12月には『僕とポーク』を刊行。
現在、『カーサ ブルータス』で「カーサの猫村さん」を『クウネル』で「B&D」
を連載中。

なぜか読まずにいた「きょうの猫村さん」。絵がヘタウマだったからかも。でもこのマンガは深いですね。
何が深いかといえば、現代人が忘れてしまった社会や人の心の温もりが感情にストレートに響いてくるからなのです。
何気ない日常にこそ素晴らしいことが満ち溢れているということに気づかせてくれます。
そしてどこまでもピュアな猫村さんにどこか切なさを感じます。
大きな癒しを与えてくれます。次回作も期待しています。

１、２巻はそれこそムサボルように読んで、それこそ待ちに待った３巻だったのですが、……ウム……。だらだらしちゃってるな〜、面白くなくなっちゃった、という感想でした。いつまで経っても「集会」は始まらないし、１、２巻では面白く感じられた昼メロの話も、こういつまでも引き合いに出されると、不思議なほど面白くない。１、２巻の話の流れからいってこの３巻あたりで収集を、というのが一番いい形だったのではないかと思います。なんて、偉そうですが。ネットの上ではかなり先まで進んでいますがそこでもぐだぐだ……うじうじ……といつまでもこのような感じなので思わず不平を漏らしてしまいました。ちょっと、というかかなり残念な猫村さんでした。

３巻までよんできて、これはギャグ漫画なのか、意外に実はまじめな漫画なのか、ますますわからなくなってきた。

今回は、猫村さん、いくらなんでもしゃべりすぎだろうと思いながらも、教授家の今後もますます気になってきた。さすがに教授の奥さん、かわいそうだし。大変ステレオタイプのようでそうでもないような人物造型が絶妙。はやく続きがよみたい。
