この本の出版前に『スピリチュアル・サンクチュアリ』を以前持っていた友人と
霧島東神社、狭野神社など数カ所をめぐってきました。
初めて通る道だったので迷いながらでしたが、道々の木々の新鮮さに
清々しい気持ちになりました。もやもやした気持ちだったときだったので、
しゃっきりさせてもらえたような気分になりました。
この本に載っているいくつかの神社も行ってみたい気分になりました。
もっとお話が聞きたかった気がするので、そこが−星。

天孫降臨伝説というテーマに沿って、足を運ぶべき名社が厳選されています、むしろこんなところで紹介してしまって、変に観光地化されることを危惧してしまうほど素晴らしいところばかり。その気になれば１泊２日ですべて参拝できるほどこれらの神社は密集しているので、この本を手にとっての旅行ということであれば最高でしょう、余裕があれば本書に掲載されていた江田神社・神々の系図の看板写真にも紹介されている青島神社にも寄ってみては。

ただ星を２つ減らしたのはここに掲載されている聖地のみが九州の聖地と思い込まれるとマズイかなと、日向の聖地ということであれば文句なく５つ星なのですが、九州と括ってあるからには宇佐神宮をはじめとする神功皇后に縁のある聖地が九州北部に点在していることは無視できないし、宗像大社や大宰府天満宮もその筋の本宮だけに無視できないでしょう。

私は江原さんの写真よりも文章が沢山載ってる方が良いかなぁと思い辛口の☆3つにしました。聖地に纏わる知識がほとんどない私にもとても楽しめる且つ為になる内容でした。
