大学生の男の子二人と、年上の女性との恋愛の話です。男の子二人の視点で描かれています。
二人の女性は夫を持っていて、この本には描かれていない部分で
それぞれの夫との生活を営んでる・・・
こんなに狂おしい程に、夫以外の男性に惹かれた女性は
どうい感情を持って生活しているのか、それがとても知りたくなりました。

物事に動じなさそうでいつも穏やかな詩文、
情熱的で感情を剥き出しにする喜美子、
全く正反対の二人の心の中の声を聞きたい、
そんな気持ちにしてくれすとても素敵なお話でした。

川島誠の「８００」を思い出しました。
どちらもタイプの違う男の子の話ですし、
江国さんが文庫の解説をしておられるので、
もしかしてオマージュ？
それともインスパイアされたんでしょうか？？
はっきりした結末がつかず、だらだら続いていく感がありますが、
実際の恋愛とかってそういうものでは？
私は好きです。
男性の視点も楽しめました。
耕治の傲慢な感じも、透の繊細さもおもしろかった。
映画のほうははっきりしすぎてなんか興ざめ…
ステレオタイプの不倫話になってて…

「...でも、わたしはあなたの未来に嫉妬してるのよ。」

ドキリ、としました。
もしかしたら、年齢の離れた年下の恋人を持つ女性が、みな同じように感じ
ることなのかなぁと思いました。
男のこが主人公で、それも二人いて、彼らの視点が興味深かった。
今までの江國作品とはちょっと感触のちがう、おもしろい物語でした。
