5.0 out of 5 stars 現在手に入る、ほとんど唯一の冬野さほの本。, 2002/4/6
まるで絵で描かれた詩のような漫画。

小さな子供たちの感性を、これほどうまくすくいあげた作家は他にはいまい。
幼い頃、すべてのものが驚きだった頃の気持ちを思い出させてくれる。
瞬間の切り取り方が素晴らしい。
ひとコマひとコマがキラキラと輝いているよう。

彼女の作品は、ともすれば「かわいい」の一言で済まされがちだが、

冬野さほのテーマや表現手法は
夫である松本大洋の最近の作品にも、大きな影響を与えているように思う。

子供に描かせてるんじゃないかと疑いたくなるような(僕は本当に疑ってる)子供のラクガキ、一日中子供を見て描いたんじゃなかろうかと思うような子供の行動の数々、それら「こども描写」は本当に優れた品質。しりとり遊びで、"「だんぷ」は「ん」が付くからヤダー"と言って、相手の子が"？"となったり、子供ならではの思考パターンの表現がすごく上手い。絵も海外の作家の作風が混ざったすごくかわいい絵柄だし、コマ割り、フキダシもちょっと特殊な感じで、読みにくい人もいるだろうけど面白い。ただ、短編集でちょっと寄せ集め感を覚えたので、そこを引いて４点としました。

とにかく、絵がかわいい。
それもありますが、子供の頃の何気ない想い、
呼び起こされる気がしました。
支離滅裂なところがあり、１回目読んだときはよくわからない。
しかし、読み返すとパズルのように話が頭の中で繋がっていきました。
最初は気にしなかった一コマに話の要点が隠されていて、
見つけるたびにそうだったのか。と。

少し切ない気分にもなる１冊です。
