初めて読んだ時、今まで外に出す事のなかった自分の中の、自分にだけ広がっている世界が丁寧に、忠実に描かれている気がしました。
脳みそがくるんと裏返った感触です。

何かしら、物を作る人ならば、尚更是非読んでほしい。１コマずつ、丁寧に読んでほしい。
表現するという事の根っこの部分と天辺の部分が、同居しています。

友達が引越しをする前に、プレゼントしてくれた本です。　
たんたんと進んでいくけれど、実は奥が深い。しかも面白い。
作者の高野文子さん、かなり頭のいい人だと思います。
この本を教えてくれた友達にはすごく感謝したい。
好きな本だとか映画だとかを共有出来る人がいるだけで、
なんか救われますよね。
ずっと大事にします。

未来人のアリバイのため、1968.6.6の昼食内容を思い出してくれという
荒唐無稽の設定。

そこから、人生のありふれた一こまの記憶のかけがえのなさ、
愛おしさを描いてくれます。

「美しきまち」「バスで４時に」こちらもすごい傑作です。
シンプルな描線で、うんうん、あるあると、共感できるエピソードを重ねていくことで、僕と主人公の距離が、ページをめくるごとに、すこしずつ縮まっていく。
ちょうどいい頃合いのところで、スパーンとドラマチックに見開きページ。
その瞬間、僕は、主人公の中に完全に入り込んで、主人公の目でその光景を見ているかのような感覚におそわれる。そして、そのときの主人公の感情やら、予感やらも大量に流れ込んできて、シンクロしてしまう。短編マンガの、洗練された完成型がここにあります。
