著者略歴 (「BOOK著者紹介情報」より)

東城 百合子
大正14年岩手県生まれ。昭和17年当時日本の栄養学の草分けだった佐伯矩博士に師事、栄養士となる。昭和24年重症の肺結核となり、玄米を主とした菜食と自然療法によって自らの病気を克服する。世界的な大豆博士といわれ、当時国際栄養研究所所長、国際保険機構理事のW・H・ミラー博士に師事、自然の栄養学を学ぶ。昭和35年沖縄に渡り全島に健康改革の灯をともす。昭和39年沖縄より帰京、東京に居をすえて、出版活動、自然食料理教室、栄養教室、生活塾、講演活動、健康運動に力を注ぐ。昭和48年5月、月刊誌「あなたと健康」を出版し、以来出版活動と共に運動を進め今日に至る(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

　本書では、さまざまな食事、栄養そして健康に
関する日本の知恵が紹介されています。(紹介され
ている食品の多さと健康法、日本の食文化、民間
療法/代替療法のすごさには圧倒されます。)

　幸いにも私自身が今病気で困っていたり特に調子
が悪い訳ではないので、速実践と言う感じではあり
ませんが、調子が悪く無い人も、健康を維持するた
めのヒントが確実に得られると思います。また、現
在健康では無い人には、必ず何か一つ参考になるも
のがあると思います。それを見つけたならば、とに
かくまずは実践されることをお薦めします。
(私も、玄米、ゴマ、梅干辺りから実践に移してみます。)

　自然の中で人が生かされているということを著者
が十分に理解し、それを伝えようとしているところ
に本書の価値があるように思います。(若造の私が偉
そうに言えことではありませんが。)自分でも何か良
い物を次の世代に伝えたいと思わせてくれる一冊で
す。(そのためには、やはり自分が実践して体験しな
いと・・ガンバロー。)

肩こりや偏頭痛、アトピーとなど、次から次へと調子が悪かったのですが、この本を読んで自分の生活の間違いに気づきました。自然のエネルギーをいかに生活に取り入れていき、健康で長生きするか。ノウハウに満ちた本だと思います。

この本は最高ですよ！！現在、環境汚染やストレス、さまざまな要因で体を壊してしまった人、体調がわるい人を救う重要な内容が入ってます！枇杷の葉っぱを痛いところにはると治るや、食生活の改善方法までも詳しく書かれていて本当にお勧めです！
