とにかく自分のことは自画自賛で、他人については、言いたい放題の本。
一例を挙げると、自分についての一節。
「十年以上、独学で勉強していて文章が認められた。まさに才能開花である。」
その一方でサラリーマンについては、ノーベル賞受賞の田中耕一氏を引き合いに出し「サラリーマンには大物感がないのである。」と切り捨てる。
自分の心の中で思っている限りは自由だが、出版物に雑談のようなことを書く品性には不快感と失望を禁じえない。
部分的には良いことも書いてあるので、もう少し推敲して欲しかった。

な、なんなんだこれは？？？
”一流”である著者ご自身を例に挙げて、”一流”を説かれているのですが、その内容が、年収２０００万以上だとか、妻に２万円の帽子を買ってあげたとか、日本で人気が出る前のクラプトン観にいってたとか、あまりにスケールが小さく、かつ低俗でした。
私はギャンブルをやらないので、著者の本業である競馬評論業が”一流”であるかは知りませんが、この本の内容が”一流”なら、別に何流でもいいです。。。
でもこの絶大な著者の自信には何かを学べそうです（笑）

時間潰しにと思って買った本書だが、時間潰し以上に後悔した。
著者の自己満足に終始し、その内容も低俗きわまりない。
一流の男はけして見向きもしない内容で、まだ漫画のほうがまし。
このような煽動的なタイトルにひっかからない一流の男になるべく、
私もまだまだ自己研鑚が必要だなと考えさせられた一冊だった。
