Jリーグを作り上げ、サッカーを普及させた、日本サッカー界の歴史とともにある三浦カズの、心の内が赤裸々になる。とどのつまり、自分が好きなこと、やりたいこと、これに純粋に、全身全霊を傾けていく、まさに、純粋な心持ちが伝わる。３０歳の頃、監督になるのかどうか、これについても、自分自身がどう思うようになるか、自分自身をみてみようと思ったという。まさに、自分の内なる声が聞こえてきたら、その声に従おうという、自身の内面に行動の価値基準がある、人物像だ。カズは幾多所属チームを変えている。しかし、自身の内なる声に従って、その道を突き進んでいる。転職を何度かしようとも、筋を通して自身の内なる声に従って生きるビジネス・パーソンとも共通項がある。

僕は４０代ですが、自分の年よりも下で全ての面で尊敬出来る人を挙げろ、と言われたらまず挙がるのがサッカーの三浦知良選手ですね。

高校からブラジルへ一人で行った時のニュース、1993年Jリーグ発足の時のもの凄い活躍、とても悲しかったドーハの悲劇、その後岡田監督の下でのメンバー外し、クロアチアへの孤独な進出、京都・神戸での日本での復活、オセアニア代表としての選抜、そしてJ2リーグでの再出発…監督補佐というJリーグ初めての立場。

どれもが劇的で、カズさんならではの「過去への見切りと現在のコンディションへの拘り、そして次を見つめる未来への確信的な希望」…心からこのサッカー選手には尊敬・崇拝以外の言葉が見つかりません。

本文から抜粋。「選手としても、人生としても、これでいいということはない。」「ワールドカップに出場したい。」…うーん、絶対にワールドカップの花舞台でたとえ15分でもいいから、カズ選手の活躍を心から見てみたい、そう思うファンの一人です。良い言葉がちりばめられております。是非、是非一読を！！

素晴らしい本でした。Kingカズの（公式発言）の言葉がシンプルに１Pにひとつ。
これがカズという存在を尊敬し、理解したい自分が求めていたものでした。

またなにかのおりに手に取ると思います。
特に先に進むために、何かを壊してきた人、あえてリスクテイクしてきた人なんだなというのが、言葉から読み取れたところが良かったです。

Kingのファンなら必読。必携。
