「井上雄彦ぴあ」というタイトルだが、全編を通して扱っているのはバガボンド「最後のマンガ展〈熊本版〉」についてである。 本誌の表紙にもなっている武蔵の顔のキービジュアルのポスターが良質な紙で実に丁寧に付録されている。 中でも意外な内容なのが、熊本出身者である尾田栄一郎氏や、舞台で佐々木小次郎役を演じる予定である小栗旬との対談。 あまりメディアに顔を出さないワンピースの作者がピンナップ付きで、しかも同じ漫画家ならではの結構突っ込んだ話をしているのでこちらは読みごたえ有り。 ワンピースのようなタッチで武蔵が描かれた尾田氏による寄稿は必見です。 小栗旬との対談は、舞台「ムサシ」の小次郎役を演じる予定だけあって、ピンナップではバガボンドの小次郎のように髪を束ねているのはファンにはたまらないだろう。 武蔵最後の地である熊本で「最後のマンガ展」が開かれることには何か運命的なことを感じずにはいられないが、上野へ来られなかった人達の為に、再び読者と一緒に作る作品の空間を設けたいという井上雄彦氏の思いには頭が上がりません。 熊本版のマンガ展へ行く前には読んでおきたいガイドブック的な一冊。

力強く・洗礼されたタッチで描かれた武蔵。
この表紙から分かるようにバガボンドで知られる画の個展について書かれた１冊。
内容はこの個展を開くにあたっての舞台裏や関係した人の話など盛りだくさんです。

その中でも個人的に楽しめたのは、「ワンピース」の作者で知られる尾田先生との対談。
２人のマンガに対する姿勢や目のつけどころには関心し、１冊分読みたいほどでした。

井上雄彦ファンならもちろん、そうでない人も１読の価値は十分にあります。

これから各地で追加公演される個展にも足を運びたくなることでしょう♪

「最後のマンガ展　重版＜熊本版＞」の案内（導入？）本です。後半３割は「熊本観光案内」です。ロング？インタビューや対談もあります。確かに読んで面白いですが「最後のマンガ展」で出展された「絵」は多分ポスターと表紙になっている「絵」だけです。前回行けず今回も行けないので少しでも掲載されているかと期待しましたが、残念です。井上氏の「絵」を期待している方は購入前にどれだけ少ないか！！中を確認して判断して下さい！製作現場リポートは１０分だけ許されたのを「濃密な空気で緊張感が伝わってきた・・・。」で４ページも割いてます。井上氏うんぬんでなく、作り手の問題です。「この本持って、ぴあでチケット買って、熊本行ってね！」という本です。
