インフォームドコンセント（納得診療）という言葉が一般化し、その重要性が問われている。
自分の病状についての説明は受けても、その先にある「医師」という職業の人が何を思い、何を考えているのか、それを聞く機会はなかった。
『ブラックジャックによろしく』『Ｄｒ．コトー診療所』『ゴッドハンド輝』…医療をテーマにした物語が今、注目を集めている。

多くの人がそれに興味を持っているのだろう。

この本は「物語の主人公」ではない、２０代の医師の等身大の心情が書き綴られている。
問題提起ばかりでもなく、押し付けでもなく、言い訳でもない。
医師という「人間」が何を考え、何を想い、悩んでいるか分かる、とても良い本です。
