この何ともなつかしい２曲は、どこかで耳にしたことのある人も多いことでしょう。
この曲を作詞して歌い広めたのが石田一松という方で、
この本は石田一松氏の生涯を描いたノンフィクションです。

著者の水野喬氏が２０年もかけて取材し、作り上げたものだそうで、たいへん面白く、読みごたえがあります。
石田一松さんは、タレント議員第一号でもあった人で、
自分に忠実であればあるほど、自然と左翼へ寄せられていった人のようです。
一松氏は広島の原爆で、身内をたくさん失い、その焼け野原で「戦争は絶対にダメだ」と決意した人でもありました。

議員・反戦というと堅苦しいと思う人がいるかもしれ!ませんが、この本は「爽やか」
「痛快」です。青春時代の話は、まるで「姿三四郎」や「坊ちゃん」みたいな面白さがあります。

バイオリンのなつかしい音に思いを馳せ、日本にも魅力的に闘った（のんき節の内容が過激だったりした）タレント議員がいたことを、是非心にとめて欲しい心温まる好著だと思います。
