予告見たときから「本気だ！」と思っておりましたこのアンソロジー、
本当の本当に本気でした！
豪華かつ秀麗な表紙、
シリアスに作品世界の闇を切り取ったお話もあれば、
アニメ見ながら一度は「それどうなんだ！」とツッコんだネタもあり、
やっぱりフランツは○○なんじゃないのとか
伯爵の部下たちって○○○○なんじゃないの？　
とかのギャグもたっぷり。
お高いお値段に見合ったボリュームで、
読んでも読んでもまだ作品があり、
普通のアンソロジーよりあきらかに濃度が高いです。
声優インタビューや冒頭のフランス語一覧など、
ちょっとした記事もあり、たっぷり楽しめます。
コレを読んでいたらまたアニメが見たくなり、
そして原作の巌窟王を読みたくなってしまいますよ〜。
「待て、しかして希望せん！」

かつて、これほどまでにクールなアニメーションがあっただろうか。
それも、150年も前の小説が原作の。

そんなアニメ『巌窟王』の唯一の公式アンソロジーコミックが本書です。
「公式」だけあって声優さん方のインタビューも、ストーリー解説も、フランス語講座も(笑)ついてますが、同人界・商業誌界でご活躍の諸先生方が執筆されたその本編は、本放送に負けず劣らずの力作ばかり。
中でも、ほんだありま先生の作品がツボでした。

ちょっとほろっとくるような、本放送の終盤を知っているとよけいにそう思えるような、ほのぼのしてるけれど泣かせる、そんな作品です。
幸せなアルベールとユージェニーが見られただけで大満足です(笑

BSでも絶賛再放送されている『巌窟王』、再びブームに火はつくのか、また同人が大量に出回るようになるのか、それはわかりませんが、このアンソロジーをこのまま埋もれさせるのは実に惜しい、本当に惜しいです。
ぜひ増刷してほしいです。

それが待てないという方、ぜひとも、古本屋などで探されてみてください。
きっと満足されることと思います。

巌窟王はすごくおもしろいです。アニメを見て原作も読みたくなりました。分かりやすいので子供も大人も楽しめると思います。。
登場人物もとても魅力的です。
