中国伝奇物風時代ファンタジー『岸辺の唄』シリーズ第二弾。全編読みきりの為『岸辺の唄』を読んでいなくても充分楽しめます。
スケールの大きさ、発想のユニークさ、謎解きの巧みさ、どれを取っても三重マル。読み終えた後の心地よい疲労感とずしりと重い充足感、まさにコミックの醍醐味です。
『百鬼夜行抄』やボーイズラブ物でしか今市子を知らないというアナタ、おすすめですよ。ゼヒ読んでみて。目からウロコ、新しい今ワールドに出会えること請け合いです!

5.0 out of 5 stars 心がしんとするオリエンタルファンタジー, 2005/3/10
　読み終えた後に、心の中がなぜかしんとしてしまう。『雲を殺した男』は、そんなオリエンタルファンタジーです。最後はハッピーエンド。でも、なぜだかちょっぴりほろ苦いような悲しいような、せつないような、そんな気持ちになってしまいます。
　同じ世界を舞台にした短編が４編収録されています。中でも私が何度読んでもせつない気分になってしまったのは、最後の『赤い旗』でした。
　ファンタジーの好きな方、せつない系のお話が好きな方、そして今市子さんの繊細な世界を堪能したい方におすすめの１冊です。

絵は、そこそこ。ストーリーもなかなか？でも何故か
この作品には、のめり込めない。もう一度読み返すと、
説明不十分の箇所もいくつかある。プロットを沢山詰
め込みすぎで、キャラとストーリーが死んでいるのか
も。なんか勿体無い作品です。
