佐竹 美保

映画の魔女の宅急便を見たときに、もし、このシリーズがはっぴいえんどであるなら、
キキとめがねのとんぼが結婚することだと思っていました。
ちょうど、ハリーポッターとジニーが結婚するのを予感していたのと同様。
でも、結婚の前後の話がないのは、とても悲しいです。
子供向けの物語だからだろうか。

ps.
相変わらず佐竹美保さんの絵は、物語に合っていて素敵だと思います。

私は今、25歳です。７歳で初めて『魔女の宅急便』の映画を見て好きになり、
以来小説も、毎回次の作品を心待ちにしてきました。
一緒に成長してきた、という思いが強いせいか、最初の場面や最後の場面、
ライとの話を聞いていると、それだけで心にじわっとくるものがあります。

それでも、20年たっても、キキも、ジジも、同じように動き回ります。
いまだにそそっかしくて、ささいなことに心を動かすキキです。
キャプテン・ゴーゴーの話も素敵です。

「魔法のとまり木」という話も好きです。
とんぼさんの熱い語りも、先生をやっている私には心に響きます。

20歳となり、ひとつの節目を迎えたキキの物語を、デッキブラシで飛ぶ姿同様、
みんなで共有しあえたらうれしいですね。
原作を読んだことのない人も、お勧めできます。
映画のキキやジジと同じ２人です。
また、だれかに贈りたくなる本です！

角野さんにも、ありがとう、とこの場で申し上げます。
きっと何年後かの、次回作にも期待しています。

キキととんぼさんのこと、気になっていませんか。
キキも二十歳になり、ちょっとずつ大人になります。

買ってすぐに読んでしまいました、本当は書きたいこといっぱいありますが
ぜひ自分で読んでみてください。
こころがほんわかと暖かくなります。
