　雪が降り積もった中を、ホネホネさんが小包を配達して回ります。
「ザクザクシューッ！」
　ぜひ声に出して読んでみてください。ふわふわした粉雪じゃなくて、ちょっと水分を含んだ重めの雪の感じがよく出ます。ホネホネさんが配達を終える頃、辺りはすっかり暗くなります。真っ黒な空に浮かんだ黄色い月。きれいなまんまるじゃなくて、少しいびつな感じがするところが暖かみを感じます。その月の色以外は、全て白黒の絵本なんですが、不思議なもので、そこに１色塗られていることで、全体が柔らかくなるのですね。

　本文は私が、配達される手紙は娘が、というように交代で読んだりして楽しんでいます。

　『はるかぜのホネホネさん』も持っているので、もう１冊、『ゆうびんやさんのホネホネさん』も買おうと思ってます。

　ただ、価格がもうちょっと安かったらなあ、ということで☆マイナスひとつです。

月刊誌こどものとも年中向き177号のハード化。
我が家では、幼稚園購読を通じて、この’ホネホネさん’に出会いました。
ウチの娘は、おばけは平気なくせに「が・い・こ・つ」と発音するのも嫌なほど
’ガイコツ’キャラが大の苦手。
どうしても必要がある場合は小さく「ガイ」って言ってます。
でも、ホネホネさんだけは大丈夫でした！
当時の折り込み付録には、ナマズさんへの配達ページを描いている頃、
偶然にもアパートの上の階の方が、ヒモでくくられた海苔巻きの包みを
「あっちゃん、おすしだよー」と降ろして届けてくださったとエピソードがありましたよ。

前作「ゆうびんやさんのホネホネさん」は、ちょっと不気味な
骸骨の郵便屋さんが自転車で動物たちに手紙をどとける話しでした。
動物たちの家は、木の上や地中、水中と様々なところにあるので、
ちょっとした冒険気分が味わえました。

今回は雪の日の配達が描かれてますが、自転車がスキーにかわった以外は
ほとんど同じ構成なので、前作からの新鮮味はないと言っていいです。
白地に黒い線を基調とした絵もいっしょ。
ほとんど塗り絵ですね。ただ今回は雪と白骨の組み合わせなので
多少必然性がでましたが。

今日は赤と色を決めて、塗りながら読むのもありかも。
