ほかのレビューで本のサイズがでかすぎるというのを見たけど、確かにちいさな子が何度も読みかえす絵本としては重量がありすぎるし対象年齢も幅広すぎな感がある。ただ、大きなお友達が”大切なほん”として、手をあらい、そろそろとページをめくり、ポターの挿絵に癒され、いしいももこの訳なんかにため息をつくには非常によいと思う。

わたしの大好きなピ-タ-ラビットです。１つ１つの物語がかわいくてしかたがありません！！なんといっても、美しいイラストが魅力です。子供から大人まで楽しめるシリ-ズだと思います。ぜひ、読んでみてください！！ピ-タ-ラビットの世界が待っています☆

「ピーターラビット全部読んで欲しい」という息子のリクエストにより
図書館で借りてみました。
おなじみのサイズのオリジナル本でいうと４ページにあたる内容が
１ページに詰め込まれています。
そのため、めくるタイミングがうまくいかない。「ページをめくると
このお話の落ちが」という構成の場合、次がもう見えてしまっている
のでは楽しさも半減すると言うもの。
とはいえ、全部読めるってのには感激です。翻訳版２４巻の半額ほど。
買う買わないはポター作品への思い入れに応じて決めればいいと思い
ます。さあ、どうする私。
