小学生の頃にはじめて読み、物語が持つ魔法にかかってしまいました。
　読みやすい単純な短編集にもかかわらず、お話一つ一つが私の心に新しい美的価値観を落としていったことを、読み終わってから後になって気づくのです。
　子どものうちにこのような洗練された本に出会うことが出来たことが今になってつくづく幸せだと感じます。

短編集です。魔法使いのチョコレートケーキも短いお話です。
魔法使いの作ったチョコレートケーキを最後に食べるのは誰でしょうか。
とてもほのぼのとしたお話ですので、小さい子供にも安心して勧めることができます。
たこあげたいかいはじめ、自然と子供がでてきたゆったりとしたお話が沢山入っています。

ファンタジーというか、メルヘンというか、好きな人は本当に好きになれる本だと思います。空想の世界に入りつつもどこか現実。子供が読んでもおもしろいのですが、大人になった今だからこそ分かるお話の深い面を読んでもらいたい、そんな本です。あなたも子供のころにあこがれた、空想の世界へはいってみませんか？
