楽しくワクワクする絵本はいっぱいありますが、この絵本は今流行りの”ミツケ”の要素も少しあります。３歳の娘は　”ママ、さがしっこしよう”と退屈した時にこの絵本を持って私の膝に座ります。

きっぷのいい母ちゃん、わたしも大好き。
娘は、洗濯物がずらりと干されているシーンとかみなりさまがどひゃどひゃ降ってくるシーンがお気に入り。通して読むだけでなく、
１つ１つのページで、絵を指さしながら会話もできる絵本です。

せんたくの大好きなおかあちゃんが、腕まくりして家中のモノをせんたく。
それでも、まだまだせんたくしたくて、目に入るモノを次々せんたく。
子どもも、猫も、犬も、にわとりも、靴や傘だって……。
森中に張り巡らされた紐に、あらゆるものが干された見開きは圧巻。
娘は「ちんちんだぁ~」と裸で干されている子どもを見て、大喜び。

せんたくという現実的なものが、ナンセンスに展開していく辺りが、絶妙。
“そんなものまで!!”“そんなに毎日しなくても!!”“そんなことでいいの!!”
などと読む親は苦笑しつつ、子どもは意外な展開に笑えます。
